Annual Company Business Planning Retreat
It all starts in January with the company retreat. Past retreats have been held at resorts such as Oak Island Hotel & Spa and White Point Beach Resort here in Nova Scotia. The retreat is a chance for the whole company to get away for two nights to wind down together, yet gear up for the year ahead.
It is at these retreats that friendships bloom, partnerships form and business planning starts for the year.
Company owner Francis MacDonald leads the team through the process of developing their individual business plans for the year ahead and gets into detail with crunching the numbers and developing the business and marketing strategies with each individual sales associate.
Sales associates get to meet and hear from guest speakers on topics like community marketing, using new media and how to harness the power of positive thinking.
Guaranty GMAC Real Estate is happy to cover the entire cost of this retreat every year for every sales associate. Consider it a "thank you" for a job well done.
Guaranty Reward Points
Broker, Francis MacDonald created Guaranty Points as an in-house program to help motivate the sales team and to give recognition for a job well done. Running your own business can be challenging at times and knowing that you are valued and getting the recognition you deserve for working hard and hitting your goals will help to keep you motivated.
As a member of the team at Guaranty GMAC Real Estate you will receive points for your hard work and loyalty. Sales associates earn points for activities such as having the highest number of units sold or the biggest volume of sales in a given month.
Points are awarded monthly and can be redeemed for prizes such as electronics, sporting equipment, jewellery and even vacations! How cool is that?
Agent of the Month
Every month a Guaranty GMAC Real Estate sales associate is granted the Agent of the Month Award. The top performing agent of previous month is honoured by their colleagues for a job well done.
In addition to the accolades, as Agent of the Month, your name and number will be published on the company's exterior sign for the drivers and passengers of nearly 50,000 cars to see each day as they drive down the Bedford Highway! What a great marketing opportunity!
Plus, as Agent of the Month, you will receive a special parking spot at the office and 10,000 Guaranty Points.
Monthly Top Ten Awards
Another way Guaranty GMAC Real Estate likes to have fun and keep the sales team motivated is with its unique Top Ten Awards Program. As a top ten sales associates in different categories each month you will receive recognition for your hard work in the form of 1,000 Guaranty Points for each time they place in the top ten.
Customer Appreciation BBQ
Every September Guaranty GMAC Real Estate holds a customer appreciation event. Every current and past client is invited to this free BBQ.
As a sales associate, this is a great time for you to follow-up with your client base in person in a fun and relaxed environment and to show your appreciation for their business. It is great chance to rekindle past relationships and to secure business for yourself for the future. Guaranty GMAC Real Estate understands the importance of maintaining solid relationships and is happy to cover the entire cost of this event every year.
Our Charitable Donations
Broker, Francis MacDonald is a big believer in giving back to the community a n d as such Guaranty GMAC Real Estate has chosen Feed Nova Scotia as its charity of cho ice.
Feed Nova Scotia is the provincial food collection and distribution centre for approximately 150 food banks and meal programs across the province. The organization pro vi des year-round food deliveries to member food banks and meal programs that serve a t least 40,000 Nova Scotians each month.
Each year Guaranty GMAC Real Estate helps organize and supports fundraisers for this important organization and individual sales associates also donate their own time and money.
